I grew up locally and currently live in Fairport with my husband and 3 boys, Chris 10, Ben 8, and Matt 8, who attend St. Mary’s School in Canandaigua. I went to school for Elementary /Special Education at Nazareth College and then completed my Masters in Literacy there, too. This is my sixteenth year teaching at the elementary level! I have experience in all grade levels at the elementary level in general education, reading, and special education. Teaching has always been a passion of mine since I was a kindergartener.
This summer I spent a lot of time with my boys. We like to camp, fish, kayak, swim in our pool, and enjoy places around Rochester. We visited the library, parks, the zoo, New York State Fair, and more. We spent time with family from out of town and went on vacation too! We just came back from spending a week in Ocean City, NJ where we enjoyed the beach, went to the zoo and aquarium, and walked the boardwalk.
Some of my favorite things are running, reading, crocheting, dark chocolate, and coffee. You will often see me with a mug of coffee or water at all times. :)
